COACH’S CHECKLIST
1. PAY TEAM ENTRY FEE
SWFFD has simplified the process for any team to enter the SWFFD Tournament. All you need to do is send in your entry fee before the deadline and your team is IN! There are no forms to fill out prior to sending in the entry fee. The entry fees for 2008 are as follows: (fee reduced)
$300 for Men 8×8 Ineligible – Limit 20 Players on Roster
$300 for Women 8×8 Ineligible – Limit 20 Players on Roster
$200 for Men 4×4 – Limit 8 Players on Roster
$200for Women 4×4- Limit 8 Players on Roster
$200 for CO-ED 4×4- Limit 8 Players (4 Women/4 Men) on Roster
Deadline for SWFFD team entry fees is on September 20, 2008 at midnight CST. All payments must be cleared by that date if paid via PayPal. No exceptions for late payments. Once you have paid, you will receive your team entry form(s) and receipt(s) from the SWFFD via mail within a couple business days.

2. SIGN UP PLAYERS ON REGISTRATION/WAIVER FORM
Once you pay your entry fee, you will be given a link to download the 2008 registration forms off our website. Each team is responsible for the accuracy of the information on the forms. All information must be LEGIBLE and the signatures must be signed by the players themselves.
NOTE: PLEASE TAKE GREAT CARE TO ENSURE ALL PLAYERS ARE ACCOUNTED FOR! YOUR TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FOR HAVING AN ILLEGAL PLAYER THAT WAS NOT ON THE ROSTER FORM!
3. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Teams MUST purchase and use their own set of SONIC BOOM belts as the USFTL rule book specifies the SONIC BOOM brand. You can order/purchase them by clicking here.
SWFFD will be selling SONIC BOOM Flag Belts at SWFFD Huddle Meeting.
Jerseys must be similar and have an unique number on each of them. Referees will be checking equipment prior to games to make sure that all players are complying. If you have any questions about equipment, please feel free to ask us or consult with the USFTL Rule Book!
Other Equipment Notes:
- NO METAL SPIKES allowed!!
- We encourage all players to use mouthguards!
4. $10 PLAYER FEE
Pay $10 per player prior to the huddle meeting. If a player is playing in 4×4 AND 8×8 – Only need to pay this fee once.
5. HUDDLE MEETING WILL BE ON OCTOBER 3rd, 2008 AT 9:00AM AT AUSTIN DEAF CLUB
Each team has one delegate vote – Please only send one representative to the meeting for each team.
FORMS ARE DUE PRIOR TO THIS MEETING! INCLUDED PLAYERS’ FEES!
