Brent Potter, longtime flag football coach, is working on to build a new SouthWest Flag Football for the Deaf. SWFFD will be the first regional-like flag football tournament for Deaf/HoH in SouthWest regionals. Unlike SWSAD/SWBAD, SWFFD is open to ANY REGIONALS / LOCATIONS IN NATIONAL Deaf/HoH teams to partipate annually SWFFD tournament. The Divisions are Men’s 4×4, Men’s 8×8, Women’s 4×4, Women’s 8×8, CO-ED 4×4 and CO-ED 8×8.
SWFFD will benefits any Deaf/HoH teams into preparation for United States Flag Football of the Deaf National Championship Tournament. SWFFD is going to be an USFFD Sanctioned Tournament.
The 2nd annual SWFFD Tournament will be in Houston, Texas on November 21, 2009. The tournament fields will be on Houston Sportsplex in South Houston, Texas.
